HP Instant Ink is based on pages, not cartridges. Choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly. Your monthly fee allows you to use our subscription cartridges to print your plan pages and includes ink , delivery, and recycling.
HP Instant Ink is flexible. You can roll over unused pages month to month (the amount of pages you can accumulate varies by plan) or if you print more, you'll automatically purchase sets of 10-20 pages for $2.99 (pages per set varies by plan).
Your plan can be changed anytime to accommodate your printing needs.
We send you HP Instant Ink subscription cartridges when you first sign up.
Replacement cartridges are only sent when your printer tells HP you need more ink, and not on a monthly schedule.
HP Instant Ink is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan.
As well as, to any customer residing in a country within the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom that provides a delivery address within: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria.

You'll need to:
Have an HP printer, eligible for the service.
Make sure your printer is turned on and connected to the Internet using Wi-Fi.
Have a valid email address and payment method. The availability of accepted credit cards for Instant Ink subscriptions may vary depending on the country. Typically, Visa and Mastercard are commonly accepted payment methods across regions. However, it's important to note that certain cards (e.g. AMEX, Discover), or Paypal may not be available for subscription in some countries.
Make sure your shipping address is up to date in your HP account.
No, Instant Ink subscription cartridges are not sent monthly. We send you HP Instant Ink subscription cartridges when you first sign up, and additional replacement cartridges are sent as needed based on your ink use, not on a monthly schedule.
The subscription cartridges are high capacity, so most customers don't require frequent shipments. You must keep your printer connected to the Internet and your shipping address and payment method up to date to avoid service interruptions. An active Instant Ink subscription is required for these cartridges to print.
If you’re enrolled in Instant Ink, make sure to use the subscription cartridges that are shipped to you. We will not know when to send replacement cartridges if you use other cartridges.
For customers enrolling with a trial promotion or within 7 days during printer setup (or 14 days for business customers):
The service starts the day you enroll. This enables you to keep track of your page counts after you enroll, so you can make sure you are on the right page plan before your trial ends. The first billing cycle will end about 30 days after you enroll.
For customers enrolling 8 days or more after printer setup (or 15 days for business customers):
You can sign up anytime. After enrollment, you will be shipped new cartridges. Your service will begin when you insert one of the subscription cartridges. You will not be billed until you complete the 'Connect Printer' step.
Ongoing billing:
You will be charged each month at the end of the billing cycle when the trial is over. Since your monthly plan fee is the same every month unless you print additional pages, we will not send you a bill prior to charging your monthly fee.
You can go to your Instant Ink dashboard 'Print and Payment History' section and download invoices there. Remember to keep your printer connected to the Internet so you can get notifications about your account.
Don't worry, once you sign up for HP Instant Ink you can change your plan anytime if you realize that there's a better plan that suits your needs.
You can track how many pages you print in your dashboard, and upgrade or downgrade to any of the other plans.

Change or cancel anytime: Change or cancel your plan at any time online. If you decide to cancel your HP Instant Ink plan you can go back to using HP original Standard or XL cartridges. Plan upgrades are effective immediately and the charges will be applied retrospectively or in the next billing cycle, depending on user choice. Rollover plan pages: Rollover allows unused pages in a month to be placed in a rollover account and then applied to pages in excess of your monthly allowance. The rollover account balance is limited to a maximum of three times your monthly service plan pages on Ink plans (Example: you can roll over up to 150 pages if you are enrolled in a 50 page plan.).
Sustainability (Website):: Customers have recycled more than 1 Billion HP Ink cartridges with HP Planet Partners. Program availability varies. For details, see www.hp.com/hprecycle
Refer-a-Friend: Customer is responsible for any overage fees during the promotional months of service. Offer valid in any country (a “Participating Country”) where (i) HP Instant Ink service is provided and (ii) the Refer-a-Friend (RAF) program is active, provided that both the existing customer and the referred customer reside in Participating Countries. Offer may vary by country and/or date. Must be 18+. At the end of the promotional period, unless service is cancelled athpinstantink.com, a monthly service fee, based on the plan chosen, plus potential/applicable Overage Fees will be charged to your credit/debit card. For existing customers referring HP Instant Ink, only qualified referrals (as defined in HP Instant Ink terms and conditions) are eligible for service offered by RAF program, equivalent to the then-current service plan chosen. There is no limit to the number of promotional months existing customers can earn under the RAF program. Referred customers must use a referral link or code to activate enrollment, limited to one referral code/link per printer. Free photos includes all photos printed from a mobile device on paper up to 5 x 7 inches in size. Photos printed on paper up to 5 x 7 inches in size from mobile devices do not count against your monthly page allotment included in your HP Instant Ink plan. Limitations may apply. Pages printed from your mobile device that are not photos or photos printed on paper larger than 5 x 7 inches in size do count toward your monthly page allotment included in your HP Instant Ink plan.
